Angie is the first-born child of Dale and Jan. After a bumpy ride home after Wednesday prayer meeting at church, she decided to enter the world the next day.

After graduation, Justin, Angie, and baby Ashley moved to Portland, Oregon, where Justin attended seminary at Western Evangelical Seminary. Three years later, with an M.Div. degree in hand, Justin accepted a pastorate in Brashear, Missouri, where they served for several years. Currently, Justin is on the pastoral staff of a large Missionary Church in northern Indiana.

After high school, Angie attended Vennard College in Iowa, where she met Justin, who would soon become her husband. In 1990, Dale, along with Justin's father, had the privilege of officiating at Angie and Justin's wedding at West Locke Wesleyan Church in Williamston, Michigan, where Dale was pastoring. They now have three children: Ashley, Kylee, and Zach.
