VARIOUS HOLLOWAY PICTURES

The Rock Any of Dale's siblings know what that rock is on the right. It's just The Rock! Here's the scoop.

Back in the late 1940's, Dad began building a house in Okemos, Michigan. When the basement was completed, we lived in it for a few years before the upstairs was completed. The Rock was out front by the road and we used to sit on it waiting for the school bus. Oh, the memories!

This picture was taken in June of 2006 when Dale was back in Michigan for a funeral. So were the six that follow. The immediate two below are of the front and back of the Okemos house. The church in the next row is what is now behind the house, which now serves as the ministry office facilities.

Notice the big Sycamore tree in back of the house. That tree is as memory-filled as The Rock. We used to ride our Welch pony, Beauty, under the tree and grab a rope that was swinging from it. Plus, it was a great climbing tree.

The next three are of our Leslie, Michigan house, where we lived for four years after moving from Okemos in 1955. It has greatly deteriorated in the forty-eight years since we moved to Grand Rapids and I suspect it will be torn down before long.
